Annual Meeting & Installation of Directors
The Annual Meeting & Installation of Directors luncheon is an opportunity to reconnect with our members to start the new year. Celebrate the past year's successes, meet our Board of Directors, and understand the WVCBA's priorities for the coming year.
Women's Business Conference
To mark International Women's Day, WVCBA and CSU Channel Islands partner to host Ventura County's only Women's Business Conference — an inspirational half-day event with guest speakers, networking opportunities, and more.

Oxnard State of the City
The annual State of the City address is a luncheon that brings together local residents and the business community with the Mayor of Oxnard for an update on the city's economic progress and plans for the year to come.
Camarillo State of the City
The annual State of the City presentation brings together community members and business leaders with the Mayor of Camarillo for an update on the city's economic progress and plans for the year to come.
Military Appreciation Dinner
Each year the WVCBA holds a Military Appreciation Dinner to honor the brave men and women who serve our country and community. Honorees are chosen by commanding officers from the six military branches stationed locally.
WVCBA Business Awards
Every year, we honor the best-of-the-best in our business community through the WVCBA Business Awards. Winners are nominated by the public and recognized at an awards celebration.
Quarterly Events
Networking Breakfasts
Every quarter starting in January, we host a networking breakfast. In addition to a full breakfast and coffee, there are networking opportunities, a presentation by a WVCBA member, and raffle prizes.
Statement Series Lunches
Every quarter starting in February, we host a Statement Series lunch where we bring together a panel of community leaders to explore topics relevant to our community.
New Member Mingles
Every quarter starting in March, we host a mingle for new members, including an informational segment on accessing the member portal and taking full advantage of Alliance membership.
Business Expo, Join Us, Mixers, and Ribbon Cuttings
Throughout the year, we have various opportunities to network and mingle with the chamber community:
- Business Expo — gives local businesses an opportunity to exhibit their services. Free to attend and open to the public with food, drinks, and raffle prizes.
- Join Us — every month, the WVCBA staff chooses a member business to patronize and invites the community to join. It could be a lunch, happy hour, museum exhibit, or axe throwing. Free to attend and fun for all!
- Mixers — we host several mixers a year, including a Military Appreciation Mixer and a Meet Your Elected Officials Mixer.
- Ribbon Cuttings — we facilitate ribbon cuttings for businesses commemorating a grand opening or milestone. Everyone is invited to celebrate with our chamber members.
